I was very impressed with this company. I had a couple of other roofing companies come out and check out my roof after the high wind damage. Amy was much more thorough than the other two, She went over my roof with a fine toothed comb. She wanted to be here when the insurance adjuster came. She went up on the roof with him. After the inspection Amy left and the adjuster turned to me and said ” you’ve got a good roofer”. Amy took over 150 pictures and sent them to my insurance agent. I spoke with Amy later and she said the job could be done in one day. To be honest, I was a little skeptical. Her crew showed up at 6:30 in the morning. They had my old roof torn off in just over 2 hours. They took a break at noon. By 4:30 pm they had the new roof on and everything was cleaned up. The roof looked great! AKW Roofing and Exterior is the real deal!

Something I never thought I’d say about getting a new roof – what a fun, amazing experience! Communication was perfect (and we ask a LOT of questions from start to finish), scheduling was a breeze, they got to our house SUPER fast, we were sent photos throughout the whole process, and they were finished in a single day. Amy is an incredible person to work with. She has been here for every step of the way. She helped explain what the insurance adjuster would do and how the reporting would work. Because of our short turn on the sale of the house, she moved our job up to help the new owners. In less than 12 hours, they tore off the old roof, replaced it with a new roof and then cleaned up everything so you would never have known they were there. The communication, follow up and follow through are top notch. One of the best experiences I have had with a service company for myself. I will highly recommend her for any roofing/exterior needs that you might have.
