Koala insulation was simply wonderful to work with. From the initial site survey to the installation everything was first class. We had our attic spray foamed. The technicians were very professional and their attention to detail showed in their work. Before we added the spray foam our attic would be 140 degrees plus. After it stays around 83 degrees. We can now store seasonal stuff in a climate controlled area. This was the best decision we have ever made. If your considering insulation for your home use Koala you will be very pleased

I needed my 12×20 portable building insulated to control temps easier and use less energy to protect items that should not be in such a great range of temps like my other uninsulated building. They arrived promptly. Immediately started doing the prep work and sealing up over windows and outlets and lights. They got their equipment all prepped and went to work. Did not waste time. Got it all done to my satisfaction. Cleaned all the extra leavings up pretty darn good. I would use them again.

The work crew arrived promptly and were ready to work. The price for the work we had performed was very competitive and quality control was top notch. Should the need arise for additional insulation projects, Koala will definitely be the one I call first.

My experience with Koala was not the best to say the least. I was sold on spray foaming my second story to keep it cooled from the attic heat. Also a solar powered attic fan. He told me the 30 watt fan would be all I needed and between that and the insulation I would see noticeable differences. During the spray in installation the tech stepped through my ceiling in TWO places. They sent someone a week later to repair the holes in my garage ceiling but you can see it’s been repaired because the new paint isn’t faded like the old. After several days of having the 30 watt attic fan installed the Koala dales guy reached out to see if I wanted to install a second one. I said no I went with what you recommended because you said it would be a noticeable difference and I’m trying to save money here, but I don’t see a difference. He offered to come swap the 30 watt with a 70 for free. A week later they did come and swap it out, but I’m still not noticing any difference. I can’t tell any air is moving in the attic, I have to get within an inch or two of the fan to feel any air moving at all. So it’s definitely not getting the hot air from across the whole attic out. Oh and the hole they cut for the fan isn’t even big enough. It’s covering like 1/3 of the fan. I asked them about this and they claimed “It’s fine it’s still able to blow the air out”. But I don’t see how having half the fan covered isn’t a bad thing.
So now I’m out 2K for nothing, when I could have put that 2K towards replacing the hvac system, or even toward spray foaming the whole attic as I’d had quotes for that for only 3,500 and that would for sure make a huge difference. But no, I have an insulated upstairs only and a little fan that doesn’t move any air.
Don’t believe the sales guy when he tells you his recommended service will make a big difference. Put the money toward a new system instead.

I have a 30×40 shop with 9’ walls and a high pitched roof that I asked Koala to insulate for me. They gave me a fair price and was able to complete the project in my timeline and budget. Very professional to deal with and gave me the best advice. I highly recommend giving them a call for any spray-in insulation needs you may have. They did a fantastic job! I’ll add a few before and after pics.
