Two service trips on the same unit. First trip was by an inexperienced tech who installed the wrong part then finally was able to locate the correct part (maybe) and had his supervisor instruct him over the phone how to connect the part. Second trip was to address the issues that probably caused the first problem due to a heating element coming on during the A/C cycles. That was disconnected after having eliminated all the other possible causes. So now, over $1500 later, I still have to have someone come out and reconnect/replace the heating element. I can promise you it will not be KMS!

Casey and his team at KMS really went above and beyond in planning and executing our HVAC replacement. Our home is over 100 years old and presented a bunch of logistical challenges for the install. I have been using KMS Heating and Cooling for HVAC requirements for about 30 years in two different houses. They are always efficient, friendly, responsive, professional, and fair in price. I participate in their CAP maintenance program and find it cost-effective.
My most recent service from KMS went above and beyond. I realized one of our A/C units was not working fairly late in the afternoon on a Thursday. The heat index was well over 100°F. The KMS technician came about an hour later, spent a few minutes diagnosing the issue, and came up with a workaround that got the system working again. We needed a new blower and had one installed less than 24 hours later, in time for the weekend.
I’m used to good service from KMS but I am truly grateful for the customer service on this occasion. I also got a 10% discount on the service total because of membership in the CAP program.
