Ubuild are some scammer for sure and they are not men of there word there are bad review for a reason run im going to make sure people are very aware of them keegan he was the jerk that I consulted that lied and then try to make it seem like he didn’t lie say he can’t refund my money, but he can’t help trying to push me off on somebody else which is fine but if you guys ain’t gonna help me get my money say it’s not refundable after he lied to get it. Obviously these people can’t make too much money or they wouldn’t have to lie to get money and I have receipts to prove everything he said.

Chris was great to work with! There was a little issue with the budget and one of the subs but we would still use them again! It’s a lot of work but we gained more than $100k in equity.

I had my house built through UBuildIt three years ago. When I began, I received a welcome letter from Bob Braudrick, the owner of UBuildIt. I paid the company $20,000 to provide lists of subcontractors and monitor their work.
I just learned from a remodeling contractor that the original framing subcontractor installed the siding incorrectly and that that caused a leak into at least one wall. I don’t know what interior-wall damage my house has. My remodeling contractor patched all of the exposed nail holes in all of the siding and painted the entire house for $5,500 after the original framing subcontractor would not do the work for less.
I contacted Mr. Braudrick and every Oklahoma employee of UBuildIt and got no responses until a letter in the mail a couple of weeks later. UBuildIt wrote, “We have no record of you as having ever been a client of Braudrick Construction LLC dba UBuildIt-Oklahoma;” wrote that I, instead, had contracted with an “independently owned and operated” “franchisee” that went “broke”; and wrote that I “had the profit/equity to more than cover any” repair now.
I responded by asking why UBuildIt had no record of me as having been a client of Braudrick Construction when I received a welcome letter from Mr. Braudrick and how the company would know that I have profit/equity to cover any repair if it has no record of me as having been a client. I did not receive a response despite repeated attempts for one.
Additionally, during original construction, the lumber subcontractor sent some wrong lumber, and the framing subcontractor used 2x6s in the walls of the top story after using 2x4s in the walls of the bottom story, forever resulting in a heavier story on top of a story and resulting in too-narrow halls and a bathroom. Additionally, during original construction, a concrete retaining wall was installed with a permanent lean.
I want potential customers to know that this is how UBuildIt operates.

Our UBuildIt consultant missed major critical structural issues throughout the entire process for which we failed inspection. The budget from the planning phase was also very very wrong (missing several items and significantly underestimating others), resulting in us going over budget when there was a $30,000 cushion built into it! Needless to say we fired them when we came to our senses before the final stage of the process “drywall on” even began. Now we have received a notice of a mechanics lien—wow how low can you stoop! (1) you are not a contractor/mechanic, you are a consultant; (2) you are not a competent consultant due to all of the critical structural errors you missed. Summing this up, do yourself a favor and either truly do this yourself (with some online materials or a pay by the hour/as needed basis consultant) or hire a full time builder. There are some out there who will actually charge less than UBI.

It was a lot of work but with their help we ended up with our dream home! They helped from start to finish and our consultant was always available for help and advice. If you’ve got the time and organizational skills you can save a lot of money and get your dream home, too!
