After almost two months:

6/17 – The patio is holding up well. Overall a great patio job. We love it and have received a lot of comments from neighbors on how outstanding it looks. Can’t give System Pacers the design reward because I designed it, but they did a great job following my design and allowing me to tweak the design on the fly. I ended up having to fix the emitter side of the drainage system. I think that underground drainage was not a strong point. The fix only cost me $30 and my time so no big deal. System Pavers offered to fix it for me but declined their offer. Overall we are super happy with it. Paver quality is good but not great. The color of pavers vary and so color wise, it’s far from perfect. And System Pavers disclosed that prior to the install. I would hire them again in the future for any paver needs. At the end of the day, it’s a construction job and no construction job is perfect. Though System Pavers does come closer than most other companies.

4/26: Had an initial overview of System Pavers with Brandon Clabo. His knowledge of the process and product was impressive. This was the third company I met with and the benefits stood out to me. The 25 year warranty exceeded any other company I met with and his explanation of the installation of the patio made more sense than what other companies told me. From signing the contract to install was only two weeks. Juan Garcia kept me updated throughout the install. Once the install started, I had daily meetings with Juan on the progress. He did amazing with conveying changes to the crew. I also worked with the crew to make small changes on the fly. Everyone was very respectful and you could tell they paid attention to detail. That was important to me because I am very detail oriented. Once the project was completed, the crew cleaned up everything, spraying down the patio, walkway, driveway, street in front of our home and we appreciated that attention. I hired the right company. Very impressed with the work and finished product. They did mostly what Brandon said they would do, but sadly only after a couple weeks, they have decided not to help address their drainage system. I even paid those guys a lot extra and bought all the parts for that drainage system that they ended up installing incorrectly.
