We had need to replace our kitchen disposal. Not having a regular “go-to” plumber for our normal household plumbing needs, I did some research on line and determined I would “take a chance” and contact 1-Tom-Plumber to discuss the possibility of them installing a new disposal for us which in fact they ultimately did. Now that this work has been completed, my sense is that I finally DO have a “go-to” plumber for any future home plumbing needs.

Through each step of the process, I was met with professionalism, competence, courtesy and patience to all of my admittedly (too?) many questions. The answers, however, were always provided with a “personal touch” such that I felt like a true customer instead of just another job order.

Each of the qualities I mentioned above are applicable to everyone at 1-Tom that I dealt with: from Amanda and Brent Richardson on the office-end of the process to our installing technician, Matt. They were each very helpful and pleasant to work with and, with regard to Matt, he was punctual with his arrival time, steadfast – and competent – in completing the install, and just an overall likable person to have in our home, i.e., a great ambassador for 1 – Tom – Plumber.

In summary, I believe I may have found our “go-to” plumber for any future needs in the form of 1-Tom-Plumber. I would highly recommend their company to anyone with need of plumbing services and am confident that in the event something didn’t go quite right after a job was completed, 1-Tom is the type of company that would come back and “make it right” without any questions.

We had to call a plumber during the holiday weekend. Thankfully we used this company and they had a very fast response time for it being later at night. Matt came out and got the issue resolved quickly. We had called a few other companies and this one had the fastest response time. I’m hoping we don’t need a plumber anytime soon, but we would definitely use them again if needed.

My hot water supply pipe had a tinny crack and the leak was on and off. Called them this Saturday and received an answer right away. I was told the diagnostic fee was $140 or so for weekends and $79 dollars for regular weekdays. Then, I decided to have them come over on Tuesday since it was not urgent. Matt came and give me an quote of $400 for the job which was a little bit higher than I expected ( my expected range could be around $250) . Originally, I thought it was $79 for diagnostic and also $79 charge per hour. Since I already had them over, I decided to accept the quote. In 25 minutes or so, Matt cut off the pipe and replaced a section of bad PEX pipe (shown in the picture) with a new one. Overall, I am satisfied with their responsiveness. However, $400 dollar (minimal on the material and mainly for the labor cost) for a less than half hour job (excluding their drive time) is a little bit too expensive for me.
