My fiance’ and I were assigned this company through our terrible home warranty company First American Home Warranty Company. Our home is supposed to close in days and we can’t get anyone to call us back, much less make the essential repairs in order to close our house in a market that is already challenging. Our home warranty company has a contract through them, and we cannot use anyone else without paying out of pocket for an expense we already paid for with our warranty company.

Just want to thank Rick, Nate, and Josh for such an efficient install of our new HVAC this week. The guys with AMP were friendly, focussed, and FAST. They were wrapped up in an hour and a half. They also showed up in time and called us to let us know when they arrIved. Our HVAC works perfectly and we are so grateful to have a new unit in our home just in time for the winter months. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with these guys— 5 star professionals through and through.

BUYER BEWARE!!! AMP Mechanical was assigned to us by our home warranty, on two occasions. Once for our heater and once for our AC. The technician grossly misdiagnosed our issue and left our family cold. He was in our house less than 10 minutes. I filed a formal complaint with First American so they never come to my home again, but want others to know how bad they truly are. My impression is they want to run up multiple trips to milk the system for more money. They truly deserve zero stars.

AMP was send out by First American Home Warranty. The tech told my renter in detail how the AC unit they were there to repair was obsolete and couldn’t be repaired. They told her that the entire closet would have to be ripped out, the unit replaced, and dry wall repair done. This would not have been a problem except they then turned around and told FAHW something different: that they didn’t service those units. As a result, my tenant broke her lease and I am now four weeks into FAHW running around trying to find someone to service the unit bc now bc AMP told them one thing and then my tenant another and now FAHW is sure the issue isn’t that the unit is outdated and needs to be replaced but that they just have to find someone else. Either FAHW is being dishonest about AMP or AMP was dishonest in their report back. Either way, I’m now starting week 5 of uninhabitable living conditions thanks to this initial visit by AMP.
