Had some miscommunications but the office staff was quick to smooth everything over.

I’ve had a teaster crown hanging improperly on my wall for the last 8 months. I searched forever before I found this place and was able to get an estimate that fit my budget. Steve’s communication skills could use a little work, but all in all he did exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier.

Staff was friendly but had significant communication and reliability issues. They missed two scheduled repair appointments completely and were late to two appointments. I finally canceled my plumbing repairs and am looking elsewhere. I’m sure the staff is busy, but on at least one occasion (after multiple no-shows) I was told that I’d be “first in line the next morning” only for the staff to be running 2+ late coming from another appointment. A trend of those occurrences is not acceptable when clients are scheduling around the repair.

Steven B took a month to do a job he spent 20 hrs on. He would show up, work to 1.5 hours, go to lunch, then return to work 2 more hours. He also left construction trash in the backyard after finishing the job. The entire time he was working on my project I had to track him down to find out when he would be returning. Two times he text me he would work weekends then did not show up. After calling and asking the company why he was not working on my project I received a text from him telling me what a professional worker he was that always finished his jobs and he decided the hours he would work. I still have the texts between the two of us. I finally paid him the money owed, otherwise a lien would be put on my home, to get rid of him. I am now saving up a few thousand more to have someone come correct his work and finish the electric.

I should have suspected something when their foreman requested a $2000 advance on material, the total estimate was $2700. Dumb me gave it to him. At least he gave me a company receipt. I often travel internationally so was not there day to day to follow up.
They started the job and did pretty good on about half of it, then disappeared. I called the foreman inquiring when they were going to finish the job. He gave me a couple excuses on two different phone calls a couple weeks apart, one even being a sick wife, which I sympathized with. I then gave him a couple more weeks and tried to call him back – no answer. I tried calling him multiple times after that, and left msgs still no answer. I then tried their office, and spoke to the owner and she confirmed that the forman had had some personal problems. She assured me that he would get back on the job within the next few days. I then traveled. I returned after a month and still no show. I then tried calling the foreman again – no answer and no call back after leaving numerous messages. In addition, I tried calling the office, no answer either, so left a message and no call back. It has now been close to five months, they are ghosting me.
The bottom line is the company is undependable and by taking my advance and not finishing the job, dishonest. Don’t waste your time, or money.
