Customer service – excellent / Tech friendliness – excellent / Repair estimate on warrantied item – HORRIBLE.
I have a 16 SEER Goodman 5 Ton unit that went out. Called Johnstone and they had a tech out after hours in less than 2 hours. Tech was very informative and friendly. I had this unit installed 2 years ago, so needless to say it was under warranty which gave me some comfort. That was until I was given the labor quote from Johnstone. They wanted $1400 in Labor for a job that would take 3 to 5 hours. That is an hourly rate of $280 to $466, depending on how quickly they complete the job. So much for a warranty when the labor to replace one of the main components cost more than 1/2 the price of a brand new unit.

I was looking for a furnace capacitor, went to like 4 different places, and someone told me to go there (not even Locks supply had this kind of capacitor) so this place basically save us, its going to be really cold tomorrow, instead of paying $100 to our tech guy we got it for less then $8 here 🤗🤗

I needed a couple of heater parts for a standing pilot type furnace. After replacing them my furnace still wouldn’t work. Not sure what was wrong I called and spoke to Todd. He was extremely knowledgeable and he went above and beyond what anyone should have ever done and helped me get it running over the phone. Many Thanks to Todd and Peter at Johnstone, they’ve made a customer for life.

I could not do this 5 star Review fast enough! Doug went ABOVE and Beyond to help my nephew and I try to fix our AC issue ourselves. He took the time to explain and walk through everything so patiently. I had to come back 3 times to test different parts, he was always kind and patient. After we did all we could on our own he then referred us to a repair man that came over the very same day, fixed our issue in 5 minutes and then he would not even take Any money. (Precision Air- Jimmy) As hot and awful as the last 4 days were, we feel very blessed and grateful and we Learned So much!!!
