In choosing a hardwood floor company, I carefully vetted many established wood floor companies, independent floor contractors, general floor covering businesses, wholesale providers and box stores before hiring Renaissance Hardwood Floors (RHF) in Glenpool, Oklahoma. RHF provided no pressure in their consultations about products, product performance and other wood floor considerations. Much weight was given RHF’s 40 years of demonstrated wood floor experience under the exemplary leadership of owner Tom Nicklas, a retired and highly respected Tulsa Fire Department Captain and his son, Duston Nicklas, a nationally recognized expert in hardwood flooring. My evaluation of customer reviews carried some weight, but not as much as my personal investigation as a retired federal agent, in hiring RHF. After previously working as a young man in my family’s, now closed, small floor covering business, deciding which wood product to use in my home was easy. Quality of workmanship was my primary hiring criteria. I knew, first hand, purchasing hardwood floors is truly a “you get what you pay for” investment. My wife, a retired elementary teacher, and I purchased white oak flooring because of its appearance, durability and character. Certainly, other wood products perform very well depending on preference, livability and budget. Scheduled installation services, with timely updates by RHF, were much appreciated. Our wood flooring was delivered to our house, in advance of installation, for environmental acclimation. Our flooring project consisted of different RHF teams-Sales; Professional Office Support; Scheduling; Delivery; Movers; Installers; Finishers; Trim Carpenters; Painters; Door Specialist; Cleaning Crew; etc., working in concert with each other. RHF provided us color floor swatches and provided examples of wood distressing to insure we were happy with our aesthetic decisions. RHF was also very accommodating with our personal preferences including unique installation requirements and design needs. Our installation crew were expert craftsmen who paid meticulous attention to detail. After installation, RHF’s finishing crew arrived to clean, sand, buff, stain and seal our new hardwood floors, while exceeding many competitors and industry standards. The finishing crew were diligent and finished our floor in a technically precise and beautiful manner. It quickly became apparent, from their attention to detail, that RHF’s business model is to provide superior customer service and workmanship at a highly competitive price. The little things like how our job site was kept clean, trim was carefully removed/painted, workers appeared professional and wore RHF clothing, furniture was cautiously moved, doors were properly trimmed, cleaning crew were deep clean experts, etc., provided us great comfort about hiring RHF. My wife and I are elated with our experience with RHF and trust they will be responsive, if needed, in addressing any unforeseen issues that may arise in the future. RHF is a company of great integrity. Their professional reputation means everything to them. If anyone, after our incredible installation experience with RHF, puports differently I respectfully submit they lack credibility. RHF truly earned the accolades stated herein. Therefore, it is without reservation that my wife and I highly recommend RHF for your wood floor needs.
