We have a gorgeous home!
After all the lies and thousand of dollars out of my own pocket I love my home. Ruhl is the reason I will never trust a home builder again. Currently have a lien on my home because they won’t pay the veteran owned electric company for their work (after being told twice they paid them).
Blown away they are still in business and I can only assume everyone that works for them is in on the scheme otherwise they would be smart enough to see the sinking ship they are on.
We had multiple people warn us and we did not listen… please don’t make the same mistake.

One of the best builders in Oklahoma! The architecture and design is amazing! Plus the finishes are top notch!! Been watching them for a long time and they do things the right way and have some of the best looking homes on the market! Highly recommend!!

Do NOT Build with Ruhl Construction
Even if Ruhl Construction offers to build your dream house for half the price, do not be tempted. The mental pressure and struggles of doing business with them are not worth spending a single dollar. They will force you to close on the house before it’s completely finished, promising to complete a punch list of pending items within 60 days. However, once you close, you will never hear from them again. They won’t answer your calls or reply to any messages on any platform.
I was forced to close on my house with 25 important items on my punch list that never got completed. Half of my backyard is without sod, and my guest bathroom has a noticeable bump in it. These are just some of the issues. I have many friends who built with Ruhl, and all of them are suffering similarly.

DO NOT USE RUHL CONTRUCTION! We finally closed on our home in March 2023 after a 1.5-year nightmare build. We went through 6 different superintendents, countless broken promises, and outright lies. The experience has been truly traumatic. After all of that, we have been left with many unfinished items and serious unresolved warranty issues.
Don’t be fooled by Ruhl’s beautiful office, showroom, and marketing presence. They lack professionalism that starts from the company owner, all the way down to the subcontractors that they hire.

Expect to pay full price for half a home. We were forced to close on an incomplete house in this horrible housing climate and they won’t come back to finish anything. We’ve built with them twice and this second time has been a nightmare. Super unprofessional.
Edit: please see the work they provide to well paying customers. Ruhl is super quick to take your money but fails to finish his work and/or come back to finish. We had many leaks and had flooring replaced but they didn’t want to find the source of our flooring issue so they told us they’re done helping us.
They didn’t do any of our serious punch list items that we agreed upon before closing. They also continue to say they will be coming back to replace or fix something but don’t. We are still waiting on doors but I have a feeling we will never see those as we’ve been getting the runaround for a year and a half. The craftsmanship is AWFUL. We will either be fixing up most of the house or selling at some point because this house is sadly a façade.
