We purchased a home for our son. He and his friends trashed it. Carlos and his crew put it back together for us, and did a fine job. We sold it for $.8000 more than our asking price because of Carlos’ work quality.

We needed a bathroom built in a hurry. Carlos came out the same day I called. He had supplies delivered that day and workers here the next. They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. Any problem or concern I had he took care of immediately. He took care of the city permits and I’m very pleased with the work.

I’ve Seen First hand the Hard work and Dedication TCP puts into all its projects, further more the Quality and Response time was Great. I am more than satisfied with my Bathroom remodel. Mr. Plaud him self was very Professional and Respectful. Loved him and his Crew.

I have known Carlos since he was a teenager I began working with him in 2018. I was the project manager for TCP at the time but I did not have the heart or the stomach for his way of scamming people so I confronted him in front of a family he was about to scam and he abruptly left the premises threatening to sue myself and the contractors that stayed to finish the work with me then and still to this day. The contractors and I got together and finished the remodel without problems and without Carlos. The couple paid us and praised us and sadly the lady who was our biggest supporter died not long after we completed her remodel dream. Carlos has a very detailed scam. He ask the homeowner to put up half the cost of the remodel upon you agreeing with this he points out that your materials will be bought and put on site and if lightning were to strike him dead, you will still have all your materials to finish your remodel, yep I know it sounds familiar. He then will buy the bulky less expensive stuff and as room becomes an issue he will say, I will get your other things later because my guys are running out of room to work. Meanwhile your supposed material money is going up his nose and that is the beginning of the hustle for projects to pay for your project. Best advice, before you invest thousands of dollars and in some cases life savings into your project put a few bucks aside for a drug test, of your choosing for your Contractor, what honest person wouldn’t agree if they want your business?

Been in this business for 12 years now (tile contractor). We did a job in Colorado Springs for these guys (2 bathroom remodels, and a kitchen backsplash); Liars, Lack of Knowledge when it comes to the trades, and worse, at the end of the project decided to negotiate our labor pricing. I should’ve stopped working once I knew that some tradesmen were living in the homeowners house while doing the work. 1 month project, turned into 3 months of negotiating what to pay us, mind you the work was all done. We finally got paid today. Carlos Plaud somehow turned the homeowner against us. I feel taken advantage of and worried about other clients getting taken advantage of. Leaving this review is the right thing to do.
