I really don’t enjoy writing reviews, good or bad. They just take more effort than what I can honestly offer up. However, sometimes it’s the only way to capture an experience. This is that review.

Back during the Father’s Day week of storms that hit so many people in my area. I too was bombarded by nature and found my self in a mess of damages and no real plan or funds to make things work. Stressed? Sure I was sweating bullets. Trying to stay faithful and just keep swimming day by day as I navigated insurance, contractors, new debt, loosing my job and finding my self in lots of brand new situations I did not want to be in.

It might be an understatement, but the amount of knowledge required to navigate insurance and adjusters is monumental in scope and frankly I am not qualified for this. That’s is when I contacted Daniel Gregory from The Roof Guys.

After 6 different local roofing companies came out, gave me the speeches and a 24 hour decision or the price would go up invoice if I were to use their services. I found a local review for Daniel that said he was a solid man and would not rip me off.

I gave him a call and can I say. He is very intelligent, moreover he listened to where I was at emotionally and financially on everything and even though, ultimately it was an arrangement where money is exchanged and insurance reigned supreme in the process. He stood by me the entire time and communicated with the adjuster and kept a clear timeline and expectation of the job available for me with all of my uneducated questions.

Insurance dragged their feet but as soon as they agreed to the work, he and his team communicated and got to work. Daniel called me and sent me pictures and ask for my thoughts on everything. Even though he is the expert. He didn’t make me feel like I was just a customer.

What encouraged me the most was that Daniel didn’t once speak to me or treat me as anything other than a guy in need and he spent more time than what he was paid educating me and helping me to fight insurance from lowballing and cheating me out of the roof I actually needed.

In the end, we concluded and it wasn’t an invoice in the mail or an email link to pay. He came to my house and shook my hand and made sure I was comfortable with everything and fully satisfied before final payment.

Not a lot of contractors out there like that anymore. If there was one area of true criticism it would be on me. I should have called him sooner and didn’t waste so much effort and time stressing or trying to save a buck. I hope this roof last a very long time and will be referring him to my friends.

Daniel and his crew did an amazing job on our roof. It was clear during our estimate that he had a lot of experience and absolutely had his customers’ best interests at heart.
