Put a few years in @ Warnick. Things we’re really good for our businesses and trade in the last 3 decades of the last century.
That’s when I started, very competitive pay rate w/benefits, company paid health insurance for employee & spouse, week vacation 1st yr through 3rd yr, 2 after that, compounding to up to 3wks per yr.
They still have competitive pay, insurance is nearly a thing of the past.
Always had fun with the guys I worked with. We (for the most of us) loved what we did and all were, are good at it.
I worked with some of the best iron workers I’ve ever worked with while there and I have 43yrs exp. at a diversified iron work (bridges, wind turbines, Tower work, skyline high rises, structural and bolt up metal buildings.
Good place to get a start at a trade, plan on it being hard on you at first, gets a lot easier as you learn.
Advance from within for the most part so there is always a chance to grow at Warnick Erectors.

Saw one of their drivers driving all over the place. Once he slowed down he threw a beer bottle at me. Very small older gentleman with a patchy beard and glasses.

I saw one of their drivers driving very erratically in North Dallas. He almost made another car hit my car. Very unprofessional behavior. My wife and I had to swerve out of our lane because the driver was angry with another driver. I get it, it’s early in the morning, but these drivers need better training on how to drive, or at least a defensive driving class. I had to catch up to this guy to take a picture. You people meed to stop contributing to the toxic driving in Texas!!
