  • I was so excited when I saw that WW had a location in Richardson. I live in Richardson. I looked up the address. They are hard to find because the signage is so extremely small. I drove all over Promenade and finally called WW. They tell me that the one girl they have is going to lunch… come back in an hour. Really??? They literally locked the door. Why even have the location?
Now, I know quite a lot about windows and it would have taken 30 to 60 mins to talk with me. I don’t know of any average person that is going to collapse over delaying lunch.
I was the only customer and rather than delay lunch, they chose lunch over me. Google clearly states that the hours are from 9-5 with no closure mentioned. Since I was only customer, I assume that when the employee came back from lunch, she would be sitting there selling windows to herself.
When you get to be too big or self important to put customer service first… and I mean first, then customers look for other options.

  • From first contact to installation, Window World of Richardson has kept amazing communication throughout our process. The installation crew was on time, did an outstanding job removing our old windows and installing the new ones, and did not leave a trace behind. We can already tell the temperature difference and are very pleased with our purchase. These are great quality windows at a reasonable price.

  • Windows world team did a phenomenal job. From Layne talking through the process with me to the installation team replacing the old windows in good time. They worked with the specific requirements my HOA had and delivered in good time. Thanks!

  • We were able to schedule an appointment very quickly. The sales person was knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. The installation happened when promised and without any problems. The windows look great and are really well-made. We had a rainstorm within a day or two of them being installed and we were happy to find no leaks or issues.

  • I absolutely loved my windows from the moment I had them installed. I even referred a neighbor. Recently, however, I noticed two windows with broken seals and etching that the lifetime warranty would cover. After multiple attempts to get Window World to honor their warranty, I cannot get anyone to respond.

Originally, I called and the customer service rep sent me an email. In it, they asked me to take photos of the serial numbers located at the top of the window, and to include photos of the damaged windows. I promptly sent the details. Nothing. No response.

A week went by and I wrote again asking if they received my photos. In the only response I have received from them to date, the customer service rep pretended that they didn’t know what windows needed replacing and again asked for the serial numbers. I sent the numbers a second time, along with more photos. Nothing. No response.

Another week went by and I wrote again, this time thoroughly annoyed at their lack of customer service and apparent refusal to replace faulty windows covered under their published warranty. I requested they send someone out to measure their faulty windows. Nothing. No response.

You can see clearly from my attached photos that their windows are faulty and that Window World should replace them under their lifetime warranty. Except getting Window World to honor its warranty promise is an exercise in futility.

Shame on Window World for selling windows with an alleged “lifetime warranty” and scamming people by refusing to respond to requests to replace their faulty windows.
