I worked for stand by after I moved frofamilyity unfortunately it was around Christmas time and was told I could wait,but more then likely no work until after the holidays.so I donated plasma up until that time.and like they promised there was plenty of work as long as you got there between 3:30-5:30am.ive been trying to gain stability since I landed back in ttown and standby was a great crutch when I could get there in time. bouncing around every other night made it hard to get there.but nothing was ever said and when I would get a gig I worked it like I was the CEO of standby personal.one day I waited all day and didnt land a gig
I really needed the money.food was hard to come by since they changed the foodstamp requirements and me bouncing around was the last to find out that the change was in full effected luckyly by the end of that day I had been given a potiently long term job I know I could’ve excelled at.unfortunately the guy I was supposed to car pool with never showed I was up he had called we played phone tag but I think we both new we was up and getting ready ,but for one reason or another the carpool never showed finally received a call at the start time of the job with a odd exsplination.dissapointed and broke and wondering how will I get to work now that I had splurged what lil I had left on food and 1round of my online casino.remembering the pick up vans I made sure to get to work that following Monday only to find out I had been terminated because the job was a new client company potentially…and I didnt make it to that potentially new client job.tried talking to the manager but she was more concerned. About losing the potiental company then me eating or getting myself out of my situation. I get that the job potiently could’ve helped more of us job seekers but look at it this way 4men was requested none showed had I and the other guys not been there to try and fill the labor order then who wouldve could’ve stepped up and brought those clients to standby if anyone elsa could’ve then why use guys from day labor..I took a chance never had any other issues with staff or clients always get callback,but something that minut space for possibility of marginal era my ride new about situation the job couch new,that I was fully reliant on the carpool.the other guys that didn’t show well they still have a job.I had the least control and made my situation clear had they said if you dont show your fired guess what.I’d had stayed on the labor side.nothing was ever explained to me about the skilled side.anyways you need a gig great place but know your value when it comes down to it.well in the higher ups eyes your a dime a dozen and more then likely they can’t relate to what your going threw.I’m never going to get the gall surgery I need before Christmas. Shouldve just stayed in the Penn.funny because after speaking my peace I just realized the probability of stand by landing that job had non of us who signed up stood up and made a bunt attempt for standby.3%…before I go I’d like to add this when you get in your feelings and they get to the point where you feel its necessary to lash out.take a second and take a deep breath count down from 10 and ask yourself what the hell is it that is actually bothering you.and be honest with your self,a lot of the time you’ll be able to pin point acknowledge and address those personal issues and gain a better understanding of yourself.lost a dam good worker and a potential client.I looked at the place like a big family.lady could use a few pointers from tie if he was office manager bet there worker orders double what they are today thanks for all your help tie
